Cat's Cradle Book Review
Let me start off by saying that Cats Cradle was a good book but super weird.
Cat's cradle book review. Review Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. To this day I still do not understand the deep meaning and symbolism behind it. I am used to weird books as a whole.
Kurt Vonneguts Cats Cradle God Bless You Mr. Like the game of cats cradle itself where Newt points out there is no cat and there is no cradle life religion and everything else are false and meaningless. Cats Cradle Review As usual Vonnegut brings his unique sense of humor and absurdity to the proceedings making for a deliciously whacked out.
Mar 04 2012 Julia Saboya rated it it was amazing. Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. 5 chips of ice-nine out of 5.
God playfully sends out His creation to follow endless rabbit trails. The payoff is usually in terms of world-building but Cats Cradles world is ridiculous and constantly absurd emphasizing its bizarreness. Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
Cats Cradle starts out with our narrator Jonah working on a book about Felix Hoenikker a fictional scientist and equally the fictional father of the atomic bomb. His world view has always seemed to me to be without illusion though sometimes lacking in joy or hope. As you are reading it doesnt take long to start reflecting on life hope and the future.
Bokonon finished writing the Books of Bokonon all the while commenting on human stupidity. A book that left an indelible mark on an entire generation of readers Cats Cradle is one of the twentieth centurys most important worksand Vonnegut at his very best. In the end Cats Cradle is a highly imaginative work of satire.
